My practical area is divide into two - Practical on Speech Recognition, and prepare my Master Of Science (Computer Science) proposal. These two area must be complete by March 2004. Integration of Expert System on Defining Herbs, By Using Based on Case and Rule Base Hybrid Structure

Abstract
“Integration of Expert System on Defining Herbs, By Using Based on Case and Rule Base Hybrid Structure” is a system that will solve a problem by using conventional system. By using physicals structure, defining a herbs is not too difficult. Moreover it can provide a list of herbs benefits. An implementation of hybrid structure, a combining within two types of reasoning, and system can learn form its experience, also using fact form knowledge based. Another benefits will arrive after the completion of this system is, it can change knowledge to the other knowledge domain. A last hope, existing this type of system, the process to defining especially for herbs will be easier.

Using Case Base Reasoning in Timetabling Problem Cases : Timetabling Problem in University Student Examination

Abstract
Examination timetabling problems are often solved by a two-phase procedure combining a sequential construction heuristic with a metaheuristic improvement search. There can be many combinations of pairing candidate sequential construction procedures with candidate metaheuristic improvement search algorithms. Different pairings of heuristics are known to produce solutions of varying quality. In this paper we propose a Case Based Reasoning methodology for selecting the pairing of appropriate sequential construction heuristic with the Great Deluge metaheuristic. We have thoroughly tested our solution approach and obtained the best results on a number of benchmark problems. In the course of this research we have addressed the issues related to the representation of timetabling problems, similarity measures for timetabling problems, and the retrieval process of solutions for similar timetabling problems. We report our results on extensive computational experiments and summarize the success of our approach.

Data Mining in Bioinformatics : Searching For Reuse Components

Abstract
Bioinformatics is a relatively new science that has arisen on the boundary between modern biology and computer science. It is a key element to modern drug discovery, using data generated by the Human Genome Project, human genetics and other biological and clinical data. Besides, data mining is the process of exploration and analysis, by automatic or semiautomatic means, of large quantities of data in order to discover meaningful patterns and rules (M.J. A. Berry and G. S. Linoff). Data mining is also finding structure (patterns, statistical models, relationships) in databases (U. Fayyad, S. Chaudhuri and P. Bradley). This paper surveys reuse component from the data-mining systems in bioinformatics. There is a lot of bioinformatic application out there. Each of this application has it own components. In order to make this application can build faster, we can reuse some component that is necessary. Also in this paper we provide a simple observation in each component that can be reuse. It is base upon another research paper, and system white pages. It is important to anyone who want to expand this research.
